20, 2004 - BioMicro® Systems, Inc. announces the
new MAUI® Mixer M4, the latest addition to a line of
disposable, mixing hybridization chambers used with
the company's MAUI® Hybridization System. MAUI Mixer
M4, a new quadruple hybridization chamber is specially
designed to allow four independent microarrays to be
processed simultaneously on a single 1" x 3" glass slide.
The MAUI System active mixing results in better uniformity
and a 3-5 fold increase in sensitivity.
BioMicro Systems is constantly looking for ways to expand
and add value to the MAUI System product line. MAUI
Mixer M4 allows researchers to save precious time and
reagents in their microarray hybridization experiments
while maintaining all of the benefits of the other MAUI
Mixers in the product line: low sample volume, thorough
and efficient mixing, and sample evaporation prevention.
Each MAUI Mixer M4 chamber accommodates a 14.9 mm x
11.4 mm microarray and requires only 10 microliters
of hybridization buffer for each microarray.
